Las Balsas

The first thing which hits you is that the views over Alquezar from "Las Balsas" are truly marvellous and totally romantic. The home itself is very spacious and comfortable and the BIG BONUS is that you have a large private parking spot right beside the house. Believe me when I say that in an ancient fortified hill town like Alquezar, that attribute is worth its weight in gold. The internal photos in this listing are true to life and exactly what you get. On the other hand the photos of the views don't do them justice. The 180 degree views over the town are nothing short of incredible both by day and by night. By the way, make sure you make good use of the well stocked herb gardens and treat them to occasional brief watering depending upon temperature and other factors. Owner Trudy is a great communicator and is very accessible by either email or phone. She appears to be fluent in English, Dutch and Spanish.... maybe other languages as well. This is a large property with plenty of room for a large family or three couples. We thoroughly recommend.
